Second Annual Cloud 11 - Gavilan North LLC Carolina International Raises the Bar in 2015 with Increased Prize Money and Live Webcast

With just five weeks until the start of competition, the Cloud 11 - Gavilan North LLC Carolina International is once again set to host a world-class eventing competition. After a record setting inaugural event, the 2015 edition has raised the bar for competitors, owners, patrons, and fans as it announces major sponsorships, in addition to awarding increased prize money and delivering a live webcast of the weekend’s feature competition.

“From day one the Carolina International has always strived to host a marquee competition which showcases the best of eventing in North America,” said Robert Costello, Chairman of the Carolina International Organizing Committee. “We are enormously grateful to all of the Carolina International sponsors and look forward to awarding increased prize money and hosting the first webcast of its kind.”

The Carolina International CIC and Horse Trials welcomes Cloud 11 - Gavilan North LLC back as the Title Sponsor for the second year. In addition, Attwood Equestrian Surfaces has signed on as the sponsor of the CIC3*.

In pursuit of delivering the most exciting and important CIC of the spring season, the Carolina International Organizing Committee is pleased to announce increased prize money for the 2015 competition totaling $70,000, with $35,000 being awarded to top finishers in the CIC3* division.

Further demonstrating its commitment to showcasing the sport of eventing and expanding its fan base the Carolina International will partner with the USEF Network to deliver live and on-demand video of the international competition. Wall-to-wall coverage of all three phases of CIC3* competition will be available along with cross country and show jumping coverage of the CIC2* division.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the Carolina International and the USEF Network. For the first time we will showcase the sport of eventing at the CIC level to people inside and outside the world of eventing and provide great marketing opportunities for sponsors,” said Kathy Meyer, USEF Senior Vice-President of Network and Media.

"We are looking forward to a spectacular event with elite competition, amazing family fun and ongoing social events for everyone to enjoy," said Costello. "Don't miss a moment of this exciting weekend!"
